Have a Caboose Party!

The WK&S is managed and operated entirely by our volunteer employees.  These volunteers provide their time and talent over countless hours during the entire year, not just during the operating season.

These helping hands perform many different jobs including those that  happen behind the scenes.  These tasks range from cleaning coaches to maintaining equipment to keeping the grounds.

 Your train fares and gift shop purchases have funded many of the improvements over the 45 plus years.  The volunteers perform all the labor necessary to complete the job.  Feel free to check out the Projects page to read about some of the more recent additions to the WK&S.
